Plot[edit]

It is a story of a woman who will go to any length fight for her rights. The story is about the Thakur and Saxena families. Krishna (Arhaan Behll) belongs to Thakur family, who is known for their power in Allahabad. They believe in superstitions. The Saxena family, however, is different. Though they are traditional, they believe in educating their daughters Pratigya (Pooja Gor) and Arushi (Avantika Hundal) without any hesitation.[1] Krishna and Pratigya eventually fall in love although they seem incompatible.

Krishna was Pratigya's secret admirer and he forces her to marry him. To protect Pratigya, Pratigya's brother Adarsh Saxena (Ankit Gera) gets married to Komal Sajjan Singh (Parvati Sehgal), Krishna's sister. Pratigya is not satisfied with her marriage. But she realises Krishna's love for her. Later she falls in love with him and eventually they come closer. Samar (Eklavya Ahir) is the son of Shakti Sajjan Singh, Krishna's brother, and his wife, Kesar. However, Shakti made Kesar mad. Thus, Samar was grown up in auspiciousness of Pratigya.

Shakti gets married a second time with Menka (Soni Singh) who wants to usurp the property of the Thakur family. Gradually, a new character of Abhimanyu Singh Yadav (Mohit Malik) is introduced; he is the illegitimate son of Sajjan Singh (Anupam Shyam), Krishna's father.[2] Abhimanyu wants his rights as a son of Sajjan Singh. So he plans a conspiracy against the Thakurs. Tanmay (Abhishek Rawat), Arushi's ex-boyfriend, enters and plans to kill Adarsh.

The show takes a leap when Pratigya and Krishna adopt Shakti and Kesar's son. The show ends with Pratigya gets pregnant and the whole family happy.
